Hp Smart Array 6i Controller Driver DownloadThe new Smart Array 6i controller is an Msart intelligent array controller for entry-level, hardware-based fault tolerance for protection of OS, applications, and logs. I have solved similar problem in test server a year ago. New the science fiction roleplaying game pdf download pdf. So this has been driving me nuts for the last week or so. I have an HP DL360 with a SmartArray 6i RAID controller, which is recognized perfectly by the 5.x installation, but is not seen at all by 6.x. Without going into excruciating detail of all the things I've tried, it appears that the nut of it is that the cciss driver is missing from initrd.img from the upstream vendor down. Download fast 7 full movie. I know that the cciss driver is being superceded by the hpsa driver and it apparently has been removed as of 6.x (5.x even flashes a 'loading the cciss driver' message on boot). The question is - how to re-add it to the ramdisk? I downloaded the cciss driver diskette image from HP and followed the upstream vendor's 6.x installation instructions (page 31, if anyone is looking). I'm PXE booting the system and had the following in my pxelinux.cfg default: label linux kernel vmlinuz append text initrd=initrd.img,dd.img ramdisk_size=16384 noapic acpi=off which resulted in dd.img being loaded, but apparently not making its way to the running kernel. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, if there is an alternate way to get this module loaded into the kernel or if I need to build a custom 6.x initrd.img that has the cciss driver in it. Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Aha - good discovery - we may be on to something. Drivers & software HP ProLiant Offline Array Configuration Utility.
